Prescription Sports Sunglasses, Clip-On inserts - frame only

Many of the Rudy Project range of sunglasses support a Clip-On insert which allows you to clip your prescription lenses behind the sunglass lenses. This sounds a bit bulky but it is actually a very neat and compact design. This is a great design for contact lens wearers who might sometimes want to wear their sunglasses with their contact lenses in. The Clip-On easily snaps in and out of the frame.

Sport Spex can glaze the Clip-On with either Polycarbonate or CR39 lenses. Polycarbonate lenses have superior impact resistant properties so if you are using your sunglasses for any impact or extreme sport we highly recommend glazing the insert with Polycarbonate lenses. CR39 lenses are cheaper but do not have the same impact resistance therefore they are suitable for low impact less risky activities.

We prefer you to contact us either via email or phone with your prescription details rather than filling in boxes. It is important to get your prescription spot on so we'd much rather talk to you! We can also advise you on which lenses to go for. We have access to our own Consultant Optometrist and excellent technical expertise.
